Open letter / Disclaimer:

I have a confession to make to my friends and to those I've hurt with my selfish actions: I am sick. Yes, I'm sick with a disease named addiction that made me do terrible things for which I'm not responsible of in the least. Therefore, don't be mistaken: this isn't an apology.

I'm not sorry (how could I be when my sickness is to be blamed?) but still I ask for your forgiveness and to please take me back into your life.

You see, I've been reborn. Not only am I sober now (pretty much), I'm a different person because I've found the Lord Jesus Christ; he was buried deep under a pile of condoms inside my nightstand drawer. Not Him in the flesh but a rosary I once wore proudly over my chest before losing my path to alcohol, drugs, and loose women. As soon as I put it on I felt His Holy warmth against my chest.

For me the period of darkness is over; I am reunited once again with the Lord and he has taken me in. The day after these songs were recorded I woke up to find out that He had befriended me on Facebook! He must have liked the songs! I was in a state of bliss until I realized I was actually lying in a pool of cat piss. I went into the next room, found the guilty cat and kicked the shit out of it. The very next day he sneaked into my room and butt-sprayed a thick stack of manuscripts. He's been hiding ever since. Don't worry, I am a patient man. I'll be waiting for you, kitty-cat.

Anyway, joy and light have replaced the anger and tears that dominated this past few years of my life. It makes me want to jump from my seat and start singing and strumming my guitar. I want my story to inspire others to change and renounce Satan; there is no reason you can't do it too! Praises, worship and prayer can heal even the most wounded of spirits.

After you listen to this record I want you to smile and say loud and clear, "Today is a great day because I'm alive and God has given me a chance to clean up my act so I don't end up burning in the fires of hell, repeatedly ass-fucked by big nigger devils while 400watt speakers play Avenged Sevenfold again and again for an eternity of shit. I accept the Lord Jesus Christ into my heart and reject all other posers (that means: no Alahs, Adonais, Buddahs, or Oingo Boingos allowed)."
